North have defeated ENCE 2-1 (Mirage 14-16, Inferno 16-12, Nuke 16-10) in the IEM Chicago Europe closed qualifier's consolidation final, securing their place at the $250,000 tournament.

After ENCE lost their first chance to qualify after narrowly losing the upper bracket final of the Europe closed qualifier to AVANGAR on Friday, while North beat Gambit in the lower bracket final, it was time for the Finns and the Danes to lock horns for the second spot on Saturday.

The series began on Mirage, where ENCE grabbed nine rounds on the offense as well as the second pistol round. North began climbing back on their own Terrorist side before it was even at 14-14, but they were stopped at the end as the Finnish side clinched the last two rounds.

North will be in Chicago in November

Aleksi "⁠allu⁠" Jalli & co. looked to close things out 2-0 as they were leading 9-1 on the CT side of Inferno, but Mathias "⁠MSL⁠" Lauridsen's team fought back with the last five rounds on the half and dominated the second, securing a 16-12 win to equalize the series.

It was decided on Nuke, where the Danish team established a great start on the defense and went on to pick up a 12-3 half. Although they had trouble getting into the second half at the beginning, North were able to close things out at 16-10, 2-1, to secure the spot at the $250,000 tournament.
